Victoria Behavioral Health Services offers access to licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Social Workers (LCSW/LMSW), and board-licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and a staff of educated Case Managers.

Coping Skills (Group and Individual)
Coping refers to conscious strategies used to reduce unpleasant emotions. Coping strategies can be cognitions or behaviors and can be individual or social.

Crisis intervention is a time-limited intervention with a specific psychotherapeutic approach to immediately stabilize those in crisis.

Behavior Support Plan (BSP) (HCS and TXHML)
A "Behavior Support Plan" (BSP) is a plan that assists a member in building positive behaviors to replace or reduce a challenging/dangerous behavior. This plan may include teaching, improved communication, increasing relationships, and using clinical interventions.

Day Programs for Acute Needs (referrals)
Day programs for acute needs provide short-term, intensive treatment to individuals who require multidisciplinary therapy to stabilize acute psychiatric symptoms or prevent admission to a more restrictive setting.

Mental Health Counseling
Mental health counselors work with their clients to establish goals and develop approaches to address emotional issues, develop coping and communication skills, improve self-esteem, promote changes in behavior, and strive for improved mental well-being.

Family Therapy
Family therapy is psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy is usually provided by a psychologist, clinical social worker, or licensed therapist.

Telehealth — sometimes called telemedicine — lets your health care provider care for you without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done primarily online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
